  • Your resume is organized into key sections that present your qualifications clearly, making it easy for hiring managers to assess your fit for the role.

  • Customizing each section with relevant information tailored to the job description highlights your most pertinent skills and experiences.

  • You can add additional sections based on your background, further enhancing the impact of your resume and increasing your chances of standing out.

Resume Style

  • Choose a clean and professional font (e.g., Arial, Calibri), customizable from 7 pt to 15 pt for optimal readability, with larger sizes for headings and smaller for body text.

  • Set margins between 0.25 to 1.5 inches for a balanced layout, providing ample space at the top and bottom for your name and contact information to ensure clarity.

  • Use more than five professional accent colors or any custom color of your choosing for headings to enhance visual interest and organization, ensuring they complement each other for a cohesive and polished look.

Customization 1: Available Sections for Edits

  • On the left side of your resume builder, you’ll find various sections available for your resume. This layout makes it easy to navigate and edit your content.

Customization 2: Reordering Different Sections

  • You can customize the ordering of sections by using the dice icon and dragging it up or down. Note that certain sections—such as Personal Information, Website and Links, and Professional Summary—cannot be moved.

Customization 3: Adding New Sections

  • To enhance your resume further, click the "Add New Section" button. This feature allows you to incorporate additional sections, providing more opportunities to showcase your skills and experiences to capture the attention of potential employers.

Customization 4: Hiding and Unhiding Sections

  • By clicking the eye icon, you can easily choose whether to show or hide specific sections, allowing for greater flexibility in how your resume is presented.

Customization 5: Renaming Section

  • By clicking on the pencil icon next to the section title, you can easily rename any part of your resume, allowing you to tailor headings to better reflect your unique experience and skills.

  • On your Resume Builder Page, simply click the gear icon to access the customization settings.

Step 2: Customize Design Elements

  • You can modify the following design aspects:

  • Font: Choose from a variety of font styles, including: Verdana, Times New Roman, Arial, Helvetica, Poppins, Corbel, Calibri, Tahoma, Georgia, Courier New, Rockwell

  • Font Size: Adjust the font size from X-small (7 PT) to X-large (15 PT) to suit your preferences.

  • Margins: Customize the margins on all sides, ranging from 0.25 inches to 1.5 inches.

  • Accent Color: Use the color wheel to customize the color of your headers, adding a personal touch to your resume.
