Effectively tracking your job applications while ensuring your resume showcases the right skills is essential for standing out as a top candidate. With the innovative skill matching feature available through Job Cards on Careerflow.ai, you can effortlessly assess your skill score and optimize your qualifications. This powerful tool not only streamlines your application process but also empowers you to align your skills with the specific requirements of your desired positions, enhancing your chances of landing that ideal job.


Getting Started:

Step 1: Select Your Job Card

  • Open your Job Tracker and click on the job card for the position you want to evaluate. Each job card represents a specific job and serves as the base for tailoring your resume.

Step 2: Upload Your Resume

  • Upload the resume you want to analyze for this specific job. This should be a Base Resume or a doc/PDF you uploaded previously, as the system will use this to generate your skill match score.

Step 3: Review the Analysis

  • Once your resume is uploaded, take a moment to review the detailed analysis generated by the tool.

Step 4: Tailor Your Resume

  • After reviewing the analysis, click "Create Job Tailored Resume." This feature will provide tailored recommendations to enhance your resume, ensuring it effectively showcases your qualifications and maximizes your chances of catching the employer’s eye.

⚠️ Important: You can only create one job-tailored resume per job card. Once a tailored resume is generated, you won’t be able to link another base resume into it.

If you want to re-target a different job with the same resume, use the Switch Job feature

Step 5: Review Recommended Key Skills

  • Review the suggested skills before applying optimization changes and specific keywords you need to incorporate into your resume. This analysis will help you understand which skills are missing and how to enhance your application.

    • Select the skills you want to incorporate into your resume

    • De-select any skills that are not relevant to your experience or target role

Click on Delete resume confirmation

Step 6: Review AI Suggestions and Apply Resume Changes

  • Careerflow.ai will generate an ATS-friendly version of your resume with AI-powered recommendations based on the selected job posting.

    In this section, you can review:

    • Your updated ATS-friendly resume

    • Resume Analysis Score

    • Skill Improvement Score

    • Added or optimized skills and keywords

    • AI-generated resume suggestions and improvements

Click on One click optimizer

Step 7: Review Your Skill Score

  • After applying all the suggested ATS-friendly keywords, reassess your Skill Score. You should see improvements that reflect the adjustments made, enhancing your overall compatibility with the job posting.
