How to Tag a Resume as Base
There are two ways to tag a resume as a Base Resume:
Getting Started
Directly through the Resume List
Step 1: Navigate to the Resume Builder Tab
Go to the Resume Builder section, where all your saved resumes are listed. This is where you manage, edit, and create new resumes.
Step 2: Find the Resume You Want to Tag as Base
Browse through the list of resumes and locate the one you want to set as your Base Resume. Make sure this is the resume you want to use as a reference for future tailoring.
Step 3: Click the Bookmark Icon
Next to each resume, you’ll see a bookmark icon. Click on this icon to tag your selected resume as the Base Resume.
Step 4: Confirmation
Once clicked, the bookmark icon will be highlighted, indicating that the resume has been successfully tagged as your Base Resume.
Via Resume Editor
Step 1: Open the Resume in the Resume Editor
Go to the Resume Builder tab and open the resume you want to set as your Base Resume by clicking on it. This will take you to the Resume Editor, where you can make modifications.
Step 2: Click the Three-Dot Menu Icon
In the Resume Editor, locate the three-dot menu icon in the upper-right corner of the screen. Click on it to open additional options.
Step 3: Select "Set as Base"
From the dropdown menu, select "Set as Base" to mark this resume as your reference document.
Step 4: Confirmation
Once selected, your resume is now officially tagged as the Base Resume, ensuring you always have a clear starting point for future edits and skill matching.
